A New Look and a New Beginning
Running a web site everyday is not easy.
For those individuals who visit the Cincinnatus Standard everyday you may have noticed that the front page format for the web site has changed often. Though it has always been my desire to find satisfaction in one permanent "look" I have often struggled to do so. Whether it is due to overly ambitious web design ideas on my end, or simply a lack of content (or too much content), a consistent format has been hard to maintain for quite some time. This can sometimes be very irritating to web viewers, and to those loyal readers of the Cincinnatus Standard and The Whistleblower Newswire I offer my apologies.
However, I may have finally...finally... settled on a format (if I have not already jinxed myself by stating that). The last six months to a year have been quite busy for myself due to school, work, and normal life activities. This prevented me from giving enough time and effort to the web site as I would have liked. However, I still feel very drawn to this web site and as I watch the current Republican leadership in Washington and Columbus betray conservative principles I still have plenty of motivation to speak out about it.
In the end, what I would like to offer readers of this web site is current news, analysis, and opinion from a conservative and libertarian point of view. It is my sincere hope that starting from this point on The Cincinnatus Standard will become not only consistent in appearance, but also become a web site that many conservatives and libertarians will want to check out everyday.
Therefore, I ask for your patience in allowing The Cincinnatus Standard the time to grow and become a permanent fixture in the local conservative and libertarian movement. Along with the web site there are also some other ideas brewing behind the scenes that could end up making 2007 an exciting year for local conservative activism. Please stay tuned for those details and please stop back from time to time. Running this web site is much more enjoyable when others are getting use out of it too.
